HDMI Connection Issues?

Check HDMI Connections 

Ensure the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the TV and the external device. Try unplugging and re-plugging the HDMI cable to ensure a proper connection. 

Try a Different HDMI Port

Test the HDMI input by connecting your external device to a different HDMI port on the TV to rule out any issues with a specific HDMI port. 

Check External Device

No Picture or Sound?

Connecting External Devices

To connect external devices like a DVD player or gaming console to your TV, you can typically follow these steps: 

Identify the Input Ports

Locate the input ports on your TV. These may include HDMI, RCA, Component, or VGA ports. It will most likely be an HDMI cable on modern TV’s 

Select the Correct Cable 

Choose the appropriate cable based on the output of your external device and the input ports on your TV. HDMI cables are commonly used for high-definition devices like gaming consoles. 

Connect the Cable

Plug one end of the cable into the output port on your external device. 

Plug the other end of the cable into the corresponding input port on your TV. 

Select the Input Source 

Use the “Input” or “Source” button on your TV remote to select the input source where you connected the external device. 

Power On and Configure

Turn on your external device and your TV. You should see the device output on your TV screen. 

If necessary, adjust the display settings or input settings on your TV to optimise the viewing experience. 

Audio Connection (if needed)
